Kalamba News Round Up #30

May 6, 2022

Spring has sprung, we survived ICE London and we’ve eaten our Easter eggs. We’ve also moved into May already, which means you lucky lot are due another news round-up! It’s been another four weeks – gone in a flash – since we last caught up and we’ve yet more gaming goodness and tasty tidings to tell, so without further ado…

April’s first story of note is our new CCO Andrew Crosby’s appearance on the iGaming FM podcast from our friends at Square in the Air. He chatted about our Stargazer project, as well as his new role and the path ahead, both for Kalamba and the igaming sector more widely. Crosby also reflects on the time he recently spent in Romania, supporting refugees fleeing Ukraine. Listen to the episode here. He also caught up with askgamblers to discuss all things RTP – you can listen to the episode here.

The latest hit in our much-loved Joker series arrived in April too, and Joker Max: Hit n’ Roll turns the volatility up even more, with numerous tweaks and improvements, including the all-new Hit ‘n’ Roll bonus wheel feature!

In our newest way to win, players attempt to build up Cashpot and Free Spins meters in the base game and hit three Hit ‘n’ Roll symbols to trigger the wheel. Spin the wheel to win one of six Cashpots, one of three Free Spins variants or an instant cash prize.

Speaking of winning, we may be doing a little of that ourselves as we’ve been shortlisted in two categories in the prestigious EGR B2B Awards 2022. Widely recognised as one of the industry’s most sought-after accolades the annual event recognises the best and brightest in the B2B sector of igaming and sports betting and we have made the cut for the Slot Supplier and Casino Supplier crowns. Wish us luck!

Fortune was definitely on the side of one grateful player of the second of our game releases for April, 9 Blazing Cashpots. Courtesy of Bigwinboard, see here how they dropped a 5269x win on from a bet of only €1. Huge congratulations!

9 Blazing Cashpots sees instant wins turned up to the maximum in the ultimate classic fruit style game but with just a hint of brand new flavour. A great range of features is sure to get players buzzing – it certainly did for one of them, let’s hope for many more!

And more we’ll be giving you in four weeks’ time when we reconvene for another slice of the weeks that were.

See you soon.
