Kalamba News Round Up #06

Apr 3, 2020

March has been a crazy month here at Kalamba Games as both our sales teams and developers have been busier than ever. We started the month as we meant to go on with the announcement of our deal with BlueOcean, through which we will launch our entire portfolio of content including our top performer Caribbean Anne.

This news was followed in quick succession by the direct integration of Spinomenal to our Remote Gaming Server (RGS), a major step that will allow us to establish and grow our proprietary platform. The partnership gives us both a great opportunity in the years ahead and we have a series of similar exciting deals in the pipeline to be revealed very soon.

We launched two games this month to immediate success, including the exclusive release of Blazing Bull with Kindred, which is planned for global launch on April 21st. Miami Bonus Wheel also went live across our network, bringing the bright lights of Florida’s party capital to the slot experience.

We have also just revealed our brand-new client area that replaces the Operator’s Hub, allowing our partners to easily access all game marketing assets and information about our games through an intuitive user interface. Operators will also find desk links for end-user support, integration and Go Live support and User Game history.

Also our very own CCO Giles Lucas flew the Kalamba Flag by running the GiG Malta Marathon – nice one Giles!

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, we were sad to hear that this month’s CasinoBeats’ Malta Summit was postponed. The gaming industry and indeed many business sectors around the world are facing challenges which we have never seen before, and at Kalamba Games we are doing all we can to assist our partners through these difficulties.

At the start of the month when we were all in happier times, our CEO and Co-Founder Steve Cutler spoke to CasinoBeats about what it’s like to operate a business under the Maltese sun and how the island can do more to attract talent.
