Kalamba News Round Up #19

May 14, 2021

Up here in the Northern Hemisphere, April is traditionally associated with springtime being in full swing, and the seasonal growth has most definitely been witnessed at Kalamba! With a gloriously sunny collection of new games released and in development, market expansion galore and new hires to match, we’ve been our usual industrious selves.

We began month four welcoming Catalin Negoita as our new Commercial Manager. Catalin joined us from EveryMatrix where he was Former Head of Vendor Management, so he brings a wealth of experience and a further boost to the exceptional humans on our Account Management team.

“I’m really excited to be joining a great young company such as Kalamba and helping drive through the commercial benefits of not just the games, but the technology and promotional tools too,” he said. “The next few years hold much promise and I can’t wait to get started.”

Welcome, Catalin!

He’ll be fortunate enough to have our April game release to help him on his way too. Monkey God Buy Feature is a fresh take on a classic Kalamba title that allows the player to choose their preferred volatility level by enabling up to four gold symbols. Featuring an all-new UI, HyperBonus, an all-new K-Gamble feature and other key tweaks, Monkey God Buy Feature, this new take on a classic is sure to entertain and engage and is definitely one to try out if you haven’t already!

Monkey God Buy Feature has joined the rest of our portfolio in making their debuts in yet more new markets for Kalamba, reaching players in Spain and Latin America thanks to a new partnership with Emara Play.

Our Head of Sales and Account Management, Tamas Kusztos, said this of the deal: “Emara Play is one of the most dynamic companies working in Spain and LatAm today and we’re really pleased about giving local players the chance to play our games. This move further emphasises our commitment to regulated markets and significantly enhances the reach of our content.”

The announcement of our market entry was covered in greater depth in Gaming Intelligence Español’s pages too, so if you can habla Español, take a look here.

It isn’t just new territories that have felt the impact of our wonderfully diverse range of games either, as we’ve taken another step forward in Italy too.

We successfully integrated Bullseye, our remote gaming server, with Tuko Productions, one of the fastest-growing game aggregators in the country. Key titles have been certified and will go live via Tuko’s distribution platform, Tuko Hub System, which puts Kalamba in front of an impressive network of operator partners.

Also we said ‘Hello’ to the Kalamba Invitational Tournament series whereby our partners can get to experience our games from a player perspective and win themselves some pretty special Kalamba swag!

Another lucky winner was made when we passed 2K followers on LinkedIn. Congratulations to our 2000th who also got some Kalamba swag!

The growth theme is set to continue throughout the year with a stream of new content and announcements to come as we head into May, so stay right with us and we’ll make sure you’re kept up to date with all things Kalambian!
