Kalamba News Round Up #18

Apr 9, 2021

It’s round-up time again and March not only saw St Patrick’s Day but also Easter, however, we promise not to go down the obvious route of egg puns! It was, of course, another hectic month that saw the pandemic rumble on with some regions coming out of lockdown and others going back in, but your Kalambians remained as busy as ever, in the office or at home, bringing you the latest and greatest content for your wide igaming world.

We kicked the month off with our latest instalment in our Joker slots series, this time one for St.Patrick’s Day, which is perhaps the seasonal event most suited for a slots theme – it’s certainly one of the most long-standing. We combined the luck of the Irish and the extreme volatility of a Joker game with four levels of jackpots, HyperBonus and HyperBet to round out this classic Vegas-style slot.

On the commercial front, we partnered with award-winning online casino listing site, Bojoko, which allows its members to rate and review hundreds of online casinos and slots, in a Trip Advisor or Airbnb style, from more than 50 game developers, now including Kalamba. We’ve created our own listing page which includes key information about Kalamba such as the number of desktop and mobile games we offer, the licences we hold and the currencies and languages that we support. If you’re not already a member, hop on over there and tell the world how much you like our games!

Speaking of which, or latest cool and classy slot Speakeasy Boost also debuted last month. Players can take the stage and jam with all the cats in our very own Speakeasy joint! Featuring K-Boost, Split symbols, and Kalamba favourite HyperBonus, Speakeasy Boost is a really swinging addition to your lobby.

As much as we like to promote our great games, we also know the value of doing the same for our fantastic colleagues! Our Sotirios Charamopoulos was promoted to Senior Account Manager, thanks to all his hard work and raw talent. His technical wizardry, commercial acumen and unflappable amiability have become highly valued within the team so it was only right that such performance was rewarded. Congrats Soti!

There were several other noteworthy happenings at Casa Kalamba, but they dropped in just a little too late for this bulletin – we’ll keep you all abreast of them in April’s roundup. In the meantime, we hope those who celebrate it had a great Easter and didn’t over-indulge in the chocolate eggs – we’d be shell-shocked if you didn’t. Sorry … we couldn’t help ourselves …
